Biography
Photography is magic, it’s as simple as that. The ability to capture an image and share it with others is addictive. The process will take you to places you would not have otherwise ventured and will introduce you to people that you would not have otherwise met. I honed my skills as a staff member of the Daily Tar Heel (circulation 10,000) while attending UNC-Chapel Hill. It was a thrill to take a series of images one day and see them on the cover of the newspaper the following morning. Studying the work of some of the great photographers including Ansel Adams, Michael Kenna and Ralph Gibson and having the privilege of attending workshops with other extraordinary photographers such as Rodney Smith, John Sexton, Ron Rosenstock and Phil Penman, I strive to create images that will capture your imagination and appeal to your senses.
